Distinguished Polish actress, director, and improvisation instructor Katarzyna (Kasia) Chmara is visiting Málaga, and you have the unique opportunity to learn to improvise with her.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Reconnecting with your inner child can unlock a world of playfulness, creativity, and resilience on stage. In this workshop, we will explore how embracing a childlike perspective can enhance your improvisation skills and bring fresh energy to your performances.

Through guided exercises, we’ll focus on:

• Curiosity & Discovery – Approaching scenes with a sense of wonder.
• Deep Listening – Truly hearing and responding in the moment.
• Openness & Vulnerability – Breaking down barriers to authentic expression.
• Rediscovering Joy – Tapping into the pure delight of play.
• Join us and awaken the fearless, imaginative performer within!

This class is open to people with no improv experience, and also to people with up to 2 years improv experience. So, maybe this can be your opportunity to give improv a try, or to enhance your improv skills with a new teacher.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

​Katarzyna (Kasia) Chmara is an accomplished Polish actress, director, and improvisation instructor. A graduate of the National Film and Theatre School in Łódź, she holds a PhD focused on character creation through improvisation techniques. Kasia is the artistic coordinator of Improdrom, the international improv festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and regularly leads theatre and improvisation workshops across Europe and has co-founded several international improv groups. Known for her boundless energy and commitment to the craft, Kasia continues to inspire and educate performers worldwide.
